For dogs 6 months of age and older, all canine heartworm preventions require a negative heartworm test to be completed within the past 30 days in order to be prescribed. Heartworm testing is required, at minimum, once every 12 months.

Our wellness clinic does not have the capabilities to see very sick pets. Pets exhibiting symptoms such as excessive vomiting, diarrhea, extreme lethargy, refusal to eat/drink, or concerning weight loss should seek attention from a full-service veterinarian.
